We are committed to sparking and fostering the joy of learning for all children through research-based practices and a deep connection to nature. We hope to provide a mindful and intentional approach to school for all children, teachers, families and our planet.

By choosing to donate, your support will help current and prospective Lumen House families in addition to the greater Sandhills community. This year we are currently looking to increase funding to support:

Scholarships

Equitable education is our top priority at The Lumen House. We are deeply passionate about making our program affordable for as many families as possible.

Professional Development

We are intentional about providing our students with a high quality experience rooted in research-based practices. Providing our teachers with opportunities to engage in professional development to continue deepening their skill sets is a standard we are committed to.

Inclusive Literature

Children’s literature has recently evolved to become more inclusive and reflective of our beautiful world. Providing our students with windows, mirrors and sliding glass doors through high quality children’s literature is foundational to our literacy approach.
